United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon renewed on Wednesday his call for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas fighters in Gaza."I repeat my call for an immediate and durable ceasefire," he told a news conference in Cairo. He also said he hoped an Egyptian ceasefire initiative would bear fruit as soon as possible.
