22,632 cusecs water released from reservoirs

ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Friday released 22,632 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to IRSA, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded was 39,488 cusecs.

Water level at Tarbela Dam was recorded at 1419.02 feet. The present water level at the dam was 50.02 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet.

Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 16,000 cusecs while outflow was 8,000 cusecs.

The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1112.25 feet which was 70.25 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 8,856 cusecs.

The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 90,60 cusecs and 5,572 cusecs, respectively.
