No dilution in India’s stance on terrorists’ extradition: Mukherjee


NEW DELHI: Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee has said that there is no dilution of the India’s stand on the extradition of the perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

"The dastardly terror crimes have been committed in India, therefore the perpetrators must face justice in India," he said, adding, "We have never given up the demand that 26/11 attackers should be handed over to us."

"There is no question of diluting our demand," he said.

Earlier, Mukherjee had told a news channel that if for some reason the suspects can't be handed over to India, then there should be a fair trial in Pakistan.

"Indian fugitives should face Indian justice. Others who have committed crimes against India should also be extradited. But if for some reason that is not possible, then there should be a transparent trial in Pak
