ISLAMABAD :Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday said that during the Senate elections in March, minorities will also be represented.
Speaking in the National Assembly in response to demand of a minority member Akram Masih Gil, the prime minister said that at present there was one Hindu Senator Ratna Chawla, representing Pakistan Peoples Party.
He said she has been elected on Muslims seat.
The prime minister said that President Asif Ali Zardari has agreed in principle for minorities representation in the Senate
