Sri Lanka sets 291 runs target for Pak in 2nd ODI


KARACHI: Sri Lanka has given Pakistan a target of 291 runs to win in second one-day international being played here at the National Stadium on Wednesday.

Pakistan, having won the toss, invited the guests to bat. Though Sri Lanka lost first two wickets in quick succession, yet Kandamby and Dilshan played responsibly and scored 59 and 76 runs respectively to take Sri Lankan score to 290 at the loss of 8 wickets.

From Pakistani side, Umar Gul took 4 wickets, while Shoaib Akhtar, Iftikhar Anjum and Sohail Tanvir took one wicket each.
