ISLAMABAD: Richard Holbrooke, the US Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan held talks with Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi here on Tuesday.
Holbrooke met Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the Foreign Office, Qureshi and Holbrooke discussed matters relating to Pak-US relations and cooperation in war on terror. Senior officials of both the countries were also present in the meeting
Sources told Geo News that Holbrooke was apprised of negative implications of the drone attacks, which was creating unrest among the people. Halbrooke was also told that Afghan war was also impacting negatively in the Pakistani tribal areas and the people’s sentiments get enraged.
